Ancillary project inspiration (digipack)

For one of our ancillary tasks, we are required to create a digipack to fit to the band image being portrayed. The digipack consists of the front and the back album cover, pictures and documentaries of the band and other relative information is included such as inspiration for songs, quotes from the band and other sources etc. The digipack is a symbol of the band and what there about. It gives another insight into the band and many bands use this as a source of advertisement for themselves.

This album cover inspires us as it relates to our image. Also the band Happy Mondays would be inspirational and take a big role in influencing our band. The colour's and the title of the album relate to drugs 'pills and thrills.' The colours represent tripping and hallucinating off the influence off drugs. It is rebellious and shocking like our band. It gives us idea's about what we wish our album cover to do. Also the colours will grab your attention as it is very bright and will stand out compared to all the other albums.
This cover for Oasis's first album Definitely Maybe is a great example for a Album cover. The album covers consist of all the band members being included in the shot. The world globe in the album cover symbolises their ambition to take over the world with their music which is a strong representation. The album cover also includes the band name and logo which is a world known symbol as well as the album name.
