Album Sales

The highest selling album in the U.K is Queen greatest hits which has gone to sell a estimated 5,600,000 Sales in the U.K alone. 2nd place is occupied by The Beatles with Sgt. Pepper's Lonely hearts club band which sold 4,908,288 copies. In 3rd place are ABBA Gold: Greatest Hits which has sold 4,610,813 copies. In 4th place and i feel this is most important for us is (Whats the story) Morning Glory? Which has gone on too sell 4,421,505 copies. I feel this is important for us because it shows that their is a huge market in the U.K for this genre of music. From 1991–2009 Oasis went on too sell over 50 Million records worldwide, this shows that their is a massive audience worldwide for this genre of music. 

Worldwide the Beatles sold 32 millions copies of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band they also sold 31million copies of the album 1. This is more that 60 million copies sold from just 2 albums.
